It's a mixture of good and bad news from down the Kardashian clan lately. The good news is that Kim just celebrated her 34^th birthday and she didn't disappoint when it comes to throwing a bash worthy of their family's reputation. The bad news is that there seems to be trouble brewing down said family and its members.

According to Billboard.com, Kim hit the famed sin city on October 24 to spend her birthday party at Las Vegas' Venetian Hotel and Casino's TAO Nightclub. Of course, her hubby Kanye West who is already in town for "Life is Beautiful" Festival joined her in her celebration. In a very heartwarming speech, the singer shared how happy he is with his lady love and daughter North West.

"I'm just happy to see my daughter's first smile and how happy I am to see my beautiful wife, who is here with me."

Kim also spilled the beans about the gift her hubby gave her which their daughter helped create. According to the E! Star, she got a prettily painted purse from her family.

"And my computer was open next to the gift and I was trying to figure out why it was there and I pressed play and it was video of her actually painting it." North West supposedly spent hours painting the purse and Kanye, being the sweetest father, made sure to capture the footage.

But the surprises didn't stop there. Eonline spilled that on October 21 (Kim's real birthday), the rapper woke up his lady love at 3 a.m. and jetted her to Hawaii where they spent part of their week. The Kardashian sister later shared a photo on Instagram of a beautiful sunrise with the tag, "#BdaySurpriseGettaway."

Now for the less pleasing news, Celebrity Dirty Laundry spills that Kanye banned Kim and North from participating in the iconic Kardashian family Christmas card headed by Kris Jenner. Kim and Kanye supposedly got pissed at the Kardashian family matron after she crashed the West's family's outing at a pumpkin farm and tipped the papparazzi about it.

Kanye was reportedly so angry over the move that he put his foot down regarding Kim and North appearing on the annual Kardashian family card. A source shares,  "Kanye is so fed up with Kris right now, he doesn't want her to make another dime off from Kim or North. He informed Kris that he and Kim are doing their own family Christmas card this year..." 

Well, it seems like the Kardashian's holiday theme this year will be a battle of the Christmas cards. Which side are you betting on, ladies and gents?
