Back during this year's E3, there was a ton of talk about seeing a new "God of War" game at the sprawling entertainment expo.

That never happened. But now, a few months later, talk of the next "God of War" has begun to circulate again, and some huge rumors are floating around. Here's what KDrama Stars has about a potential sequel to "God of War 3."

They're claiming that the game has a release date all set, and that it'll be hitting the Playstation 4 console in September of 2015. As well, they're claiming that Sony will give audiences their first taste of "God of War 4" at EGX 2014, and later will give a more in-depth look at next year's E3.

It should be noted, though, that this is all speculation for now. A similar piece in KpopStarz claims that the game has been slated for a release date somewhere in the next three years, but nothing is concrete, meaning this talk of September 2015 could be real, or just someone jumping the gun.

As well, plenty of story rumors for the next "God of War" are everywhere. The biggest all involve one thing- Kratos taking on the gods and goddesses of another mythology. KDrama Stars published some fan rumors that Kratos may use his blades against the beings of Norse mythology or Egyptian mythology.

They even go as far as to include Judeo-Christian tradition, but the possibility of Kratos fighting (and... killing?) Jesus is probably far too offensive for modern audiences to ever entertain.

Another recent report from KDrama Stars claims that a "God of War" movie is in development, possibly alongside the next game- but just like "God of War 4," we're mostly in the dark for now.

Check back soon for the latest news on "God of War 4."
