Is Teresa Giudice really leaving the "Real Housewives of New Jersey?" Rumors of her departure from the show following her impending sentence date along with her husband Joe for fraud have been circulating as of late. According a report by Reality Tea, Giudice said that she is torn about leaving the show but she expressed her preparedness if ever she really needs to leave "Real Housewives." She was quoted as saying, "I don't know the future. No one knows what's going to happen a year from now. I might get another job, who knows?"

According to a spokesperson Rebecca Carmichael of the US Attorney's Office, the Guidices would be sentenced for fraud in September 23 as opposed to the original date, which is on July 8, the Star Ledger reported. Carmichael said that the reason for the move was administrative and has no relation to the death of Joe's father, Frank.

Teresa, on the other hand, is seeking probation from the charges, and will most likely get her own spin-off before Joe, who has far more graver charges, goes to prison. Moreover, there has been reports of her entering the business of hosting lifestyle or a cooking show, given the fact that she has established the Fabulicious brand, which now includes desserts and gelato.

But Joe might be looking to face another problem. An animal rights activist named Kris Kelly claimed to Radar Online that Teresa and her husband are abusing animals on the show. Recalling an episode, she said, "Joe Giudice has two dogs in the back yard in cages. The dogs killed two chickens...they go to a farm and get two more chickens and then blow cigarette smoke in a goat's face and the goat screams. He teaches his daughter to respect farm animals. The child screams through every episode of the New Jersey Housewives and that's annoying but when you are being rough with animals it turns from annoying to unacceptable. What is this show teaching young kids? It teaches them to be bullies to both other kids and the most vulnerable, animals!"

In 2013, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has signed a law designed to criminalize acts of animal abuse. If Kelly does pursue a case against the Guidices, the couple might be meted out with punishment for a third-degree crime.
