OneRoofEnergy raises additional $1 million via loan funding

OneRoofEnergy has made an announcement about funding it has received from an existing shareholder. The company, which is known for its SolarSelect program, acknowledged receipt of an additional $1 million in funding from Hanwha Holdings USA Inc..

Launched in 2011, the company received $50 million in funding from various investors including Hanwha, US Bank (a US Bancorp Subsidiary) and Black Coral CapitalThe company has been offering homeowners complete solar services ranging from system design to financing, installation, monitoring and maintenance.

OneRoofEnergy's SolarSelect program has aided homeowners to acquire access to affordable clean electricity without actually purchasing panels. The program supposedly allows homeowners to pay for their electricity on a monthly-basis at prices that are lower than the current electrical costs they usuallypay for. Through SunOpps, the company's sales and design software, the process of buying or leasing have been streamlined for the homeowners in package options that are suitable depending on a customer's need. Presently, the company serves residents in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Massachusetts and New York.
