Rumors circulated since early 2014 about a sequel to "Titanfall" for PlayStation 4. Enstarz says it will be 'LIKE'  counting a few months from all the "hype and buzz". First Microsoft and Sony need to iron out a deal in order for fans to envision anything in the future. Enstarz also claims from a 'report' or 'statement' that the deal could finish very soon. Fans still seek any evidence of this.

Other 'reports' say that the sequel to the multiplayer first-shooter game is already in its planning stages. Aside from PlayStation 4, it is also likely to come out on XBox One and PCs.

The rumored publisher of "Titanfall 2" will once again be Electronic Arts (EA)

An EA representative told IGN in March that they do not comment on rumor or speculation. "Right now all our focus is on supporting all the fans worldwide enjoying Titanfall."

"Titanfall" was released for Microsoft Windows and XBox one on March 2014. A version for XBox 360 was released the following month.

The game proved to be very successful. That month, it reportedly sold 925,000 copies. It won more than 60 awards at the E3 2013 reveal, including six E3 Critics Awards (Best in: Show, Original Game, Console Game, PC Game, Action Game, Online Multiplayer).

Many critics also praised the game, Ryan McCaffrey, Executive Editor of Previews, said in a review: "Somehow, Titanfall confidently walks the line between holding your attention and making your head explode. In short, you're always on the edge of your seat, almost ready to fall off. But you never will, nor will you ever slouch down comfortably."

McCaffrey adds: "This is Microsoft's killer app. You will buy an Xbox One for Titanfall, and you should."

The rumors about "Titanfall 2" have not yet been confirmed, but an article (dated May 2014) by Polygon reported EA CEO Andrew Wilson as saying that the publisher has developed a new agreement with Respawn Entertainment, the developer of "Titanfall." EA will reportedly be "working with Respawn to bring new Titanfall experiences to players worldwide."
