Lifetime comedy-drama series "Devious Maids" has recently been concluded, and fans are wondering if the show will be renewed.

So far, Lifetime has not yet revealed if there will be a third season. If the first two seasons are any indication, however, it looks like fans of the show would be in for more. A report by Fox News says that it's among the network's highest-rates shows, and five lead stars are nominated for Imagen Awards.

Hypable also reported that the show's second season premiere garnered 1.96 million viewers. There was a decline throughout the rest of the season (some episodes had 1.5-1.7 million viewers), but it was still able to keep pace with the fans.

The show is also expected to make waves soon down under. Stars Ana Ortiz and Grant Show recently traveled to Australia to promote the show's premiere. Season 1 will air on July 24, in the country's Foxtel Universal Channel.

Executive producer Sabrina Wind did an interview with TV Line answering questions about the show's finale and what is in store if it will be renewed for a third.

TV Line asked if we'd see Nick going to prison or be gone entirely. Wind answered: "I can't make any promises. With some characters, you can say, 'Absolutely, that person is gone.' Like Tony, for example, we have no intention of bringing back. But if we can find a way to bring back Nicholas and keep Mark Deklin on our show, we will do so. https://tvline.com/2014/07/13/devious-maids-zoila-pregnant-season-finale-death/

She adds: "The audience really responded, as far as we can tell, to Nicholas and Mark. So if there's a way to keep him, we'll try and figure it out; on the other hand, he is a murderer."

When asked about whether that mugging scene in the finale was plannned by Adrian, Wind said that Adrian set it up, and the person who mugged Tony was the detective. She explained that their intention was to make it look random--but it was actually all Adrian's plan.
