Live-action Transformers' fourth installment "Transformers: Age of Extinction" is set to release on June 27 in iMAX and 3D.

Transformers 4 is directed by Michael Bay, executive produced by Steven Spielberg, and screenplay written by Ehren Kruger.

This Paramount Pictures' film will be featuring the first appearance of new robots - the Dinobots; including the well-known Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet, and Brains. Fast cars and human chaos will also be a trademark.

After an epic battle from the past sequel, the film begins. As people rise and move on, another group of antagonists are to destroy the harmony again. The shadowy group will bring threat and the saviors are back on track into bringing justice and abolish the chaos. Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen's voice) and the Autobots are to battle with the most challenging enemies they had. In a series of explosions and stunts, they are swept up in a war of good and evil, ultimately leading to a climactic battle across the world.

Michael Bay's team will showcase an exciting non-stop live-action full of explosions and futuristic machinery. Bay's film has been on its 11th Spot to defuse more thrill and excitement. There will be the signature slow-motion effects of Bay's team on the film.

Michael Bay stated that the filming begun on May 28, 2013. On his Facebook and Flickr accounts, he has uploaded several photos of the futuristic cars to be featured on the film. On October 29 of last year, Bay has announced on his Twitter, they have photographed in Hong Kong and will be heading to China for more filming. Reports said the film was promoted in China.

"Bay has finally given in and basically delivered the mechanical version of Godzilla alongside some other familiar "faces" given new names," reported by The Inquisitr.

Characters of the film will remain Cade Yeager, Joshua, Shane Dyson, Harold Attinger, and the Autobots as stars despite of the intrigues that some actors have left the casting. Moreover, still, Skrillex is announced to be in charge of the sound effects.
