Android offers an excellent range of game applications for all types of users. Here are some of the ways to enjoy those programs using a personal computer.

1.) BlueStacks

As of today, BlueStacks is one of the best ways to run Android applications on Windows. It runs Android applications on a window within your Windows desktop, which means that it does not replace your entire operating system. With BlueStacks, you are able to play Android games without any problems. It includes easy installation of applications from Google Play, so that users can effortlessly run their applications. It also runs Android applications and games smoothly.

2.) Android-x86

Android-x86 is a community project that allows you to install Android on laptops or tablets by connecting Android to the x86 platform. It provides a way to run Android on low-power devices offering additional life. This project is relatively new, so it is not for all devices. It supports SUS Eee PCs, the ViewsonicViewpad 10, Del Inspiron Mini Duo, Samsung Q1U, Viliv S5, and Lenovo ThinkPad x61 Tablet. Users should be careful in installing this program on physical hardware because this project is quite new and unstable.

3.) Official Android Emulator

Google's official Android emulator is part of the Android SDK, which is a software development kit that developers may use to create applications     for the Android platform. It can be used to run the Android operating system in a window on your computer. It will give you access to the entire Android operating system. The official Android emulator is intended for developers to give test runs to their newly created applications. It is rather slow, but it can be very useful to test applications or try out the latest versions of Android.

4.) Android on Intel Architecture

Android on Intel Architecture, or Android-IA, is a distribution of Android for new Intel based PCs. Intel provides an installer that can be used to install Android on your Windows 8 device. It enables you to preserve Windows in a dual-boot scenario, which allows you to dual boot Windows and Android on your device. This project is interesting because it is driven by Intel, and likely the same software you can find on Dual-Operating System Intel PCs.
