Austria's Lisec Group to enter Nigerian glass markets, reveals expansion plan

Austria’s Lisec Group revealed its plans to enter the glass industry of Nigeria, according to a report from Ventures Africa. The move was for the company’s continuing expansion in Africa. Lisec has already established its business arms in Egypt, South Africa and Kenya. However, the company has been persistent to take in Africa’s biggest economy, Nigeria.
Lisec has been looking at Nigeria to hold the key for the company’s products, technology and machineries. Ventures Africa said that Lisec has been seeking to offer quality glass products to clients in the Nigerian market.

Meanwhile, Afam Ike, the company’s spokesperson said that the Nigerian glass industry has a lot of potentials waiting to be unraveled. Ike also said that the Austria based company wanted to enhance manpower and venture on culture as a means of establishing competence in the Nigerian glass industry.

Ike also said that the expertise, innovation and technology of Lisec would be beneficial to the local market.
