Arizona's Simpleview buys CRM solutions provider Software Management

Destination marketing solutions provider Simpleview has purchased Pittsburgh customer relationship management (CRM) and web development solutions firm Software Management Inc (SMI). The value of the acquisition deal was not disclosed, according to Arizona Daily Star.

Simpleview execs said the deal "adds approximately 95 new clients to the number of DMOs working with Simpleview, expanding the company's customer base to more than 350 destinations, including nearly all the top-tier meeting and leisure destinations in North America and a number of top destinations around the world."

Under the terms of the said transaction, SMI managers will now oversee the operations of Simpleview's new headquarters in Pittsburgh, the report added.

Simpleview is a company that caters to destination marketing organizations (DMOs) such as state tourism offices and visitors bureau to provide them with website design and monetization tools. The company is made up of 130 employees across its Tucson, San Diego, and Pittsburgh offices, Arizona Daily Star reported.
