It has been 30 years since we’ve seen the first Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang. However, fans are in for a treat that would be gracing the big screen once again next year.

Snoopy, based on the late Charles Schulz’s comic strip Peanuts has lived on for many years in newspaper comics. It has also been aired several times on TV and has captured the market with different Snoopy and the Peanuts gang merchandise.

Throughout the time, Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Linus and the other cast were shown in 2D, hand drawn characters. In the new Peanuts film to be launched in 2015, the characters enter into a whole new world of 3D animation.

The trailer of the latest offering from 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios shows how Snoopy’s fur resembles real fur and the little wisp of Charlie Brown’s brown hair appears to be real. According to a report from Mashable.com, the 3D animated Peanuts would hit theaters leaving more extreme effect to movie goers and Snoopy fans.
