The Muscular Dystrophy Association's (MDA) former head office in Tucson has been sold to Larsen Baker LLC. The sale is of the building at 3300 E. Sunrise Drive is valued at $9.1 million, according to Arizona Daily Star.

Larsen Baker director of leasing Andy Seleznov said of the property: "There's just no building like it in Tucson. The location, the finishes, the interior. There's nothing close to this level of luxury in Tucson."

Cushman & Wakefield represented MDA in the deal. Under the terms of the transaction, the MDA will still be the main tenant in the building. The firm will also collaborate with Larsen Baker regarding renovations to transform the structure into an office complex for several tenants. The building will be renamed The Offices at La Paloma, according to Inside Tucson Business.

The changes that Larsen Baker will implement will affect the building's entry drive, signage, and landscape design. The company will find additional tenants for the structure, the report added.

The sale of the building was announced last September. After being headquartered in the property for 22 years, MDA's national office has now relocated to Chicago, Arizona Daily Star reported.
