BlackBerry has sold of its Riverside Commons office campus in Las Colinas, Texas to Canadian investor Brookfield Property Group. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, according to Dallas News.

Riverside Commons' six-building compound are worth more than $30 million for taxes. The property sale was brokered by CBRE Vice Chairman Gary Carr, together with John Alvarado, Robert Hill, and Eric Mackey. The deal includes a piece of land across the buildings which can serve as parking area or another construction site, the report detailed.

Carr said of the Las Colinas property: "There was a ton of interest in the property given the size and scale of the campus. There is a lot going on in the Las Colinas Urban Center."

BlackBerry acquired the 460,000-square-foot campus on State Highway 114 in 2009. After the company went bankrupt, they had to let go of thousands of their employees, Dallas News reported.
