Treehouse, a startup that teaches interested beginners how to code, has launched a new course that teaches iOS design through a battery of tutorials and tests, according to VentureBeat.

The site offers videos and other materials that will teach the basics of designing a user interface. Students are taught how to write an application design specification (ADS) and adapt the designed app for other platforms, the report detailed.

Founder Ryan Carson explained: "Designing a mobile app is very involved, and we break it down into an easy to understand process that takes you from concept to a fully designed app. The course is meant for beginners that know very little about user interface design to experienced designers that want to understand the mobile app design process."

The program can also benefit those developers who want to design their own iOS apps. Treehouse's course is composed of 24 tutorial videos and five quizzes. The monthly tuition fee for this course ranges from $25 to $50, VentureBeat reported.
