North American oil producer IronGate acquires Green Light

North American oil and natural gas exploration and production services provider IronGate Energy Services has purchased Green Light Energy Services, a company that provides rental services to exploration operators in North Dakota, according to Oil & Gas Financial Journal (OGFJ).

The transaction expands IronGate's market reach by granting access into the Williston Basin of North Dakota, which is the second biggest oil producing region in US. The said deal also expands the Texas-based firm's rental and completions related business, the report detailed

IronGate was purchased by Clearlake Capital Group in 2013, the report added.

In addition, IronGate has announced that industry expert David Mannon has become part of the firm's board of directors. Mannon has over 30 years of exposure to the US and overseas oil and gas sector under his belt. He was the most recent president of Parker Drilling Co. Before that, he was Triton Engineering Services Co's president, OGFJ reported.
