Cooltec Services has secured a £40,000 in the form of a business loan from Finance Yorkshire, according to the Yorkshire Post.

The York-based company specializes in air conditioning and refrigeration technology. The firm supplies and installs freezers, fridges, refrigerated chillers, walk-in cold rooms, ice machines, and cellar cooling systems. Cooltec also offers maintenance and repair services for air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The company's clients include Flamingoland, Castle Howard, York Minster, Marriot Hotels, Best Western, and Stonehouse Projects, the report detailed.

In 2008, managing director Simon Walton purchased Cooltec. The company presently employs four people, the report stated.

Walton said, "Having recently acquired a complementary business, Hotelware Supplies, we are looking to a solid future, but it inevitably means working capital is needed. This business loan from Finance Yorkshire will enable us to invest."

Finance Yorkshire is a company that provides seed capital, loan, and equity investments to help small and medium-sized businesses achieve their funding needs. The firm provides an amount between £15,000 and £2 million for every transaction, the Yorkshire Post reported.
