Captive Media, the makers of world's first urinal video game, raised GBP250,000 through crowdfunding. The fund would be used to launch its unusual business, according to a report published by Yahoo Finance.

The British tech firm sourced its fund from SyndicateRoom, an equity-based crowdfunding site. Founders Mark Melford and Gordon MacSween also appeared on BBC's Dragon's Den to promote their unusual product. The celebrity investors in the show expressed their initial skepticism regarding the success of their product. But within just 27 days, the company came up with the GBP250,000 fund, said the report.

The Captive Media devices are installed on top of urinals located in diners and pubs. Clients using the restroom can kill boredom by playing as they pee. These TV-like gadgets display ads and video games and are controlled left or right using the user's aim. The tech company assured via its website that the products are waterproof and vandalism proof.
