TPG would be joined by Jennifer Morais, a funds commitment professional. Prior to her employment at TPG, she worked at the Canada Pension and Investment Board. Her role in TPG would be in the investor relations business, as confirmed by four people familiar with the situation.

TPG declined to provide a comment on the matter. There is no indication if TPG has already physically allowed Morais to perform her tasks for the firm. 

Her role in CPPIB was senior principal of funds and secondaries. There was no report made as her reasons she left her work. Before CPPIB, Morais worked at the Ontario Municipal Employees' Retirement System.

Her role in TPG would be to expand investor relatons as well as its fundraising group. This is one aspect of the business that the firm has been nurturing in the past few years. This was confirmed by a person with knowledge of the firm, who sought anonymity for the information.
