Sprinklr announced today that it has banked USD17.5 million in Series C financing from precious investors Battery Ventures and Intel Capital. This is according to a report by Marketwired.

Sprinklr is a social relationship platform that helps big companies to understand their clients and build authentic human relationships with them via different social networks. This new funding series will enable it to continue with its plans for global expansion and open a new office in the United Kingdom, said the report from Marketwired.

"Our growth reflects the movement of global brands to deploy an integrated social relationship infrastructure at the enterprise level. Europe is the next logical step to support our global client base," said Sprinklr's founder and CEO Ragy Thomas, as stated in the report.

The Marketwired report also said that Sprinklr has appointed Kevin O'Regan, former VP of Aprimo EMEA, to manage the team in its new office in UK.
