Dubai Land to launch website

An announcement of plans for the launch of a new website for the Dubai Land Department. This website would allow landlords, seller, buyers and brokers that have been operating in the emirate to list properties for the purpose of completing deals for the market.

The E-mart site would be covered 'by specific rules and regulations that promote a culture of transparency and openneess, thereby ensuring the rights of all parties", according to a statement issued by the developer. No details were provided as to how the website would be run.

This website is one of the number of new technologies to be introduced by the Dubai Land Department at the GITEX information and Technology Exhibition. This exhibition would be held between October 20 and 24 at the Dubai World Trade Center.

According the Dubai Land Department Director General Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, "We would like to thank our creative staff for developing the package of e-services that have been designed to advance the concept of e-transformation."

He further added, "These services have been created as a response to the significant increase of activity witnessed by the emirate's real estate market and will work to help transform Dubai into becoming a future world leader in the global property sector."
