In a classic media coup, the grandmother gave the world a glimpse of her new grandchild by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Through her Instagram account, Kris Jenner showed a photo of the newest member of the Kardashian family, North West.

There were many teasers prior to the actual uploading of the image. In a recent family event, the parents of North had covered the baby carrier with a blanket to cover her from the prying papparazzi. Grandmother Kris Jenner had been piping all week in her new talk show that she would be the one to show North to the world. 

Unlike other celebrity couples, Kim and Kanye West had not sold the baby's pictures to a major magazine or show the baby in the many shows that the Kardashians show on E!. According to proud papa, "It's all this talk about baby pictures and can you get paid for the baby picture or do you want it to put it on a magazine. And for me and your daughter (referring to Kim) we have not attempted to get paid for anything, we have not attempted to put in on a magazine. You just stop all of the noise and I thought it would be really cool on her grandmother's season finale to bring a picture of North."

North West would be one very pampered baby. Her mother, reality star Kim Kardashian is said to be currently worth USD40 million. She started as an assistant and stylist to Paris Hilton. Now she is a business mogul, running a television show, movies and magazine covers. She also invested in a clothing line, perfume as well as other beauty and aesthetic products.
