The sister of lovable Eric Forman in the hit show 'That 70's show', played by actress Lisa Robin Kelly was found dead in her sleep. She was 43 years of age. At the time of her death, she was checked into a rehab facility to assist the actress in her life long battle with alcohol addiction.

She had just checked into the facility earlier in the week. According to her agent, Craig Wyckoff, in an interview with People, said, "I spoke to her on Monday and she was hopeful and confident, looking forward to putting this part of her life behind her." He added, "Last night, she lost the battle. Cause of death has not been issued yet and no death certificate has been issued either."

During an interview with ABC News, the late actress had shared her issues with substance abuse after the popular sitcom had closed. Kelly said, "I had a lost a baby. As a result of that I lost it. I lost everything and I was abusing alcohol. With 'That '70's Show', I was guilty of a drinking problem and I ran."

In a 2000 report from the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, the burden on the US economy is estimated to be at US$134 billion a year. The effect of alcoholism involves not only the immediate families, but the government, insurers as well as alcohol related accidents and crimes.
