Shannen Doherty, a 45 year old actress is still being brave in fighting breast cancer. Her very first treatment was said to be documented on her Instagram account.

On her Instagram she captioned "First day of radiation treatment. I look like I'm about to make a run for it which is accurate. Radiation is frightening to me. Something about not being able to see the laser, see the treatment and having this machine moving around you just scares me. I'll get used to it but now, I hate it." She said on her Instagram post.

Shannen Doherty first admitted about her cancer last August 2015. She bravely said that she had cancer and thus she is doing treatment. On an interview on that day she admitted she had cancer, she said that she will still continue to eat right, exercise and stay very positive about her life. She also added that she is very much thankful to her family, friends, and doctors for all their support and she is also thankful to her fans for staying and believing in her.

It has been a year and a half since she revealed her diagnosis about her cancer and she openly shared her journey through it. She documented her hair being shaved, shared photos and videos of her cancer treatment on her social media accounts, and she also attended cancer awareness event.

Last October, she had shared her experience of her chemotherapy and she had also shared an Instagram video of herself receiving an injection from her nurse. On her post, she said that Dawn is taking care of her from the start together with her doctor, Dr. Piro, Joyce, Kathy  and Rosie and everyone else in the clinic and that she said that she had a great team.  She also said that she is not enjoying chemo day or needle things stinging in her chest but at least she had the best crew.
