Semper MBS Is Super With $500M AUB Total Return Fund Reach

Semper Capital Management, a privately owned New-York Based boutique fixed-income investment manager announced that the Semper MBS Total Return Fund had already reached $500 million AUM. Sometime in August 2016, the firm had announced that the und crosses its 3 years mark and had received a 5-Star Overall Morning star rating out of 261 non-traditional bond funds as of September 30, 2016. The institutional share class (SEMMX) and the investor share class (SEMPX) had each received a 5 star overall morning star rating.

Semper Capital is an independent investment management firm specializing in mortgage and other asset-backed investment. Semper Capital also manages the Semper Short Duration Fud which is a $42 million mutual fund as of September 30, 2016 which focuses on short duration securities in sectors including RMBS and CMBS. Semper Capital is MBE certified and has been a registered investment advisor since 1992.

Launched on July 22, 2013, the Fund is available for purchase both directly and on most major broker dealer platforms. The Funds primary objective is that to provide a high level of risk-adjusted current  income and capital appreciation.

Fund's performance as of September 30, 2016, net of expenses, for the institutional share class which is based on performance for time periods over one year are annualized.

For three years  from October 1 2013 to September 30, 2016 it has a 6.83%, one year through prior quarter which is from October 1 2015 to September 30, 2016 it has 2.46%, and lastly, since inception which is July 22, 2013 through the prior quarter end September 30, 2016 it has a 7.60%. Gross Expense Ration of this is at 0.75%.
