Jobandtalent gets fresh funding from Spanish investors

Spanish investors have just given a fresh round of funds to jobandtalent, a recruitment company based in London and Madrid. The company secured 2.5 million euros to fund its innovative recruitment approaches from Kibo Ventures, Felix Ruiz, and Alfonso Villanueva.

Kibo Ventures is based in Madrid and is particularly interested in promising digital ventures. It has the backing of Telefonica and other institutional investors. Felix Ruiz co-founded the 'Spanish Facebook' Tuenti.com which now boasts of 15-million users. Alfonso Villanueva, meanwhile, is already an existing shareholder and is currently a senior partner at McKinsey & Company, Singapore.

The company prides itself in its linguistics-based algorithm to match jobseekers with the job that best suits them. According to co-founder Juan Urdiales the mission of jobandtalent is to "to revolutionise and redefine the recruitment space online, ensuring that no one misses a great job opportunity ever again."

This fresh round of funding has already raised the recruitment platform's total funds to 3.6 million euros.
