Rae Dawn Chong stirred up controversy during her radio interview in with "Matty P's Radio Happy Hour" today. The 52 year old actress called her "Color Purple" co-star Oprah Winfre "a great brown-noser", among other harsh words.

"She was lovely(on 'The Color Purple')," said the Canadian actress. "It was after when I did 'Commando' and I was starring with Maria Shriver's husband in the movie. That's when she was a total b---h," she continued.

When asked to elaborate on Winfrey being a "brown-noser," Chong said "If you're in a room with her she'll pick the most powerful person and she'll become best friends with her."

Despite the initial tirade, Chong ended the interview with a complement of sorts, saying "This woman is a miracle, and I respect her and I say kudos to you and I don't give two cents about the other parts of it."

Oprah Winfrey is yet to make a statement regarding the issue. The self-made millionaire is currently first in the list of Forbes' wealthiest celebrities. She is the chief executive officer and chairwoman of the Oprah Winfrey Network.
