A Californian avid auto collector, insurance mogul and hedge fund manager Julian Movsesian has won the bid in the Naples Winter Wine Festival. He has won the honor to become the first owner of the newest member of the Rolls-Royce Motor Car family, the all-new Dawn. The bid held in Naples, Florida on January 31, has been on for $750,000.

The release of the Dawn model has been promoted heavily on social media and through a digital launch. The generous benefactor of the bid is Naples Children & Educational Foundation (NCEF). Dawn has remained in the limelight of the auction, according to a report published in PR Newswire.

Market value of the auctioned Dawn Convertible has been assumed to $400,000. The bid winner will get delivery of the car in April from dealership in Naples prior to delivery of any other car of this model.

Besides the Dawn, an Acura NSX ($1.2 million), a COPO Camaro ($300k) and Jay Leno's Harley Davidson edition Ford F-150 ($200k) has also been auctioned. All the cars have been first of their kind and donated to NCEF for charity, reports Autoblog.

The Dawn model featured at the Naples Winter Wine Festival has been a Drophead Coupe, commissioned only for the occasion. The Dawn convertible includes an Andalusian exterior finish with a deep red roof, offset by an Arctic White and contrasting Consort Red interior leather.

The vehicle has been finished in full Santos Palisander Canadel Paneling of Indian Rosewood. It includes bespoke treadplates reading, 'Build No. 1 for Dawn in North America'.

All the Rolls Royces placed for auction in Winter Wine Festival over the last 15 years, have grossed $4.8 million in total. CEO, Torsten Müller-Ötvös has termed Rolls as an altruistic company for befitting the first new Dawn through a statement.
