After one year only did Ryan Reynolds finally revealed the birthday of his daughter James Reynolds. Fans knew that his wife Blake Lively gave birth sometime around the yuletide season last year, but it is only now that the secretive celebrity parents announced that Baby James was born on December 16.

Us Weekly reported that the actor shared the information through social media last Wednesday. He tweeted, "Happy birthday to my baby girl! Sad I lost my virginity. But thankful I have a daughter."

Reynolds and Lively never really confirmed the official date of birth of their daughter, showing how private their family is. However, they do let the world have a glimpse of their baby girl from time to time, showing only her tiny hands and feet. The first time was when Reynolds posted a photo on Instagram wherein his little one is holding onto his thumb.

With Baby James now in his life, the first-time dad surely has become happier, boosting his sense of humor even more. Refinery29 stated that one time, he posted on Twitter how he loved making nursery rhymes for his little angel, whose favorites are 'Sunshine-Cuddle-Time!' and 'Everyone You Know Will Eventually Die.'

In addition, Reynolds talked about how it is like to be a father for the first time during a cover shoot in September. According to E! Online, he shared one piece of advice, and that is to not listen to any advice. For him, nothing can be done for a man to be prepared for fatherhood.

But if there is one thing he discovered in himself when he became a dad, that is, he actually had a surprising endless supply of patience. He said he has no problem even if he wakes up in the middle of the night five times, just to change diapers. He and Blake Lively do not have a nanny right now so it is more challenging. Yet, he admits having a stupid grin on his face constantly no matter how exhausting parenthood is.

True enough, being a parent is one of the toughest yet most rewarding jobs in the world. Ryan Reynolds surely have proven that.
