Several of Hollywood's elite are rumored members of the highly mysterious secret society, the Illuminati. Conspiracy theorists continue to conspire against these industry giants allegedly aiming to take control of all media and broadcasting mediums for the purpose of a new world order.

For instance, Lady Gaga's epic rise to fame was not attributed as mere coincidence. The musician, born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, rose to prominence after the debut of her album 'The Fame' in 2008. She went on to become a critical and commercial success as well as landed notoriety for her unusual, sometimes inappropriate, costumes and self-empowering messages as well as performances.

An article by Vigilant Citizen pointed out that many of Lady Gaga's work bear the Illuminati symbolism. She is often seen in photographs or video performances gesturing the all-seeing eye  as well as appearing in interviews with a vacuous and forgetful demeanor.  It was also speculated that her actions are oftentimes the result of mind control.

Another article by Insider Monkey also claimed that Willow Smith, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith's musican daughter, is also a member of the Illuminati. It was reported that her choice of fashion accessories may hint at her involvement with the secret society specifically for wearing triangles on her clothes. She is also known to gesture Satanic symbolism in her music videos.

Kanye West is an alleged member of the Illuminati after reportedly singing about how he traded his soul to the devil in return for fame and fortune. The rapper, producer and fashion designer has become one of the music industry's biggest names and shares the alleged Illuminati membership with wife Kim Kardashian.

Meanwhile, another article from Channel 24 suggested that musician Jimmy Nevis has become one of the latest to join the line of Illuminati celebrities. Nevis recently dropped a teaser video for his new single 'Yes God', which showed him in red devil horns. He said that the song was dedicated to God and eventually removed the animated red horns from his work claiming that the props were just silly business.

Top artists have joined the list of Illuminati celebrities through the years although none of this has been confirmed. Many refuted the claims saying that they were not "devil worshippers" and speculations such as these were just mere propaganda and celebrity hype.

The Illuminati, otherwise known as the Enlightened Ones, is a name given to real and fictitious secret societies rumored to oppose superstition as well as religion over the general public's life. The use of the term dated back to 1776 during age of Enlightenment in Europe.
