The official Android 6.0 Marshmallow release to Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is expected to begin this month and not later than March 2016. Per report from Australia News Network, the biggest software update in Android history is set very soon, as Sony has already expressed its partnership with Google to push through with the update.

Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is one of the lucky devices to experience the Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade, as December or later in March will mark a new breakthrough. It was announced by the Japanese giant back in October 2015 that Sony must now be on the verge of testing the new build, and will eventually roll it out to a string of its smartphones and tablets.

The device had just been updated to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and will hopefully receive its last update not sooner than later. Although, many believed that 2015 will be the year of the first roll out of Marshmallow to the device, some reports pointed out that it is far from possible as of now.

Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is an 10.1-inch device first released in March 2014. Its display is made of an TFT capacitive touchscreen protected by a shatter proof glass. The device also features a 8 MP main camera, 2 P front camera, 3 GB of RAM, and a non-removable 6,000 mAh battery.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade is expected to boost up what is already a powerful device, like Xperia Z4 Tablet. Among the most notable features introduced, Marshmallow also offers an improved text selection setup, a sweet treat for the photo bums with easier screenshot management and more.

The text selection is known to be too hard to handle. With Marshmallow, it becomes more improved as there is a confined floating menu with simple choices "select all," "copy", or "share". The overflow menu includes web search by default. It can be custom-made with Google Translate and more.
