After the success of Boruto: Naruto the Movie, series creator Masashi Kishimoto  revealed that a new spin off story is possible which will explore on the relationship of Naruto and Sasuke. He also said that it could be told in another character's perspective.

Naruto's story has finally concluded and as reported by Latino's Post, Kishimoto said that he has no other definite plans for the series yet. However, he also teased about a possible story arc exposing Naruto and Sasuke's relationship. He further added about the possibility of telling the story through the perspective of Naruto's mentor, Sannin Jiraiya.

Nothing is in place as of now, but Kishimoto said that a potential Boruto: Naruto the movie spin-off could still happen in the near future. "There are infinite possibilities right now", he said, as reported by iSchool Guide. "If I decide that I want to do more 'Naruto' stories, perhaps I will, perhaps I won't. That said, there is nothing firmly in the works at this time. Just that there is always the possibility.", he added.

The Naruto series has gone a long way since it first hit stands in 1997, and has since become one of the most popular series around the world, and as reported by Youth Health Magazine, Kishimoto expressed his happiness about the successful conclusion of the series.

"Not in terms of a commercial success but to complete the story I had envisioned. That is one of the things I'm most proud of. And I had absolutely no idea that it would ever be a success, much less a success of the level of what it is now", Kishimoto said.

Kishimoto admitted about having ideas for his next project but stayed firm that he currently plans to take a long vacation in Hawaii to spend time with his family. Having said that, Naruto fans will have to wait for Kishimoto's confirmation for the Boruto: Naruto the Movie spin-off. The latest film was a huge success in Japan, and earned a 97% audience score in Rotten Tomatoes.
