Shannen Doherty has made her first celebrity appearance in Los Angeles since announcing she has breast cancer.

The actress walked and posed for the red carpet at the 2015 Baby2Baby gala. Doherty wore what she referred to as comfortable yet stylish outfit, that is a black sleeveless Vera Wang gown which she paired with dangly earrings and silver bangles.

Shannen appreciated the experience and took to social media how she had a great time at the event. The Charmed actress posted a message saying: "Such a wonderful evening with inspiring women like @kerrywashington who gave one of the most inspiring speeches and the gorgeous, funny @jessicaalba check out #baby2baby an organization that helps supply necessities for children coming from low income or no income families."

The 44-year-old star is known for her role as Prue Halliwell in the hit TV series, "Charmed". But Shannen's breakthrough role that brought her to worldwide fame was in "Beverly Hills," playing as Brenda Walsh. Shannen has never left the acting industry since, thus stayed in her Hollywood life.

Then in August of this year, the old star revealed to People that she's been fighting cancer and along this news, also came her lawsuits against her former business manager.

According to reports, it looks like that Shannen's ex-manager not only got away from liabilities of not paying her health insurance, as per her contract requires, but she's also indirectly blaming the company for her recent diagnosis. Shannen claimed that had she been provided with proper diagnosis and treatments earlier, her illness could've possibly been more easily cured by then.

However, the company denies this allegation and expresses their concern and well-wishes for the actress, but it seems that Shannen decided to take legal action.

In any case, as of Doherty's breast cancer stage, she is expected to undergo mastectomy and chemotherapy to cure her illness.
