Android 6.0 Marshmallow software is confirmed to roll out to four models of Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 device. According to Samsung's official list of expected time of arrival for the device, Marshmallow will hit the devices as soon as April 2016.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 device and its four variants will be receiving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade. Although April 2016 has not been confirmed as the exact release date, Marshmallow update should come by the second quarter of 2016

Android 6.0 Marshmallow is now in the development stage for the device which means Samsung is currently doing integration between its system and the Marshmallow software. Testing will come afterwards if development is considered finished. In this stage, Samsung will assess the performance of the Marshmallow update and its conditions on the device.

Official release will come if all process said have been done. However, even if Samsung puts a release date, the upgrade will still depend on the carrier on when to release the update.
